What's shipped in Goldberg, and what we're building next.

v1.1.0 · September 26, 2026

More control over your work, your account, and the evidence behind a lookup

Project Goldberg v1.1.0 gives you more control over your work, your account, and the evidence behind a lookup.

Before getting into what's new, we need to be honest about something. We said the /project rework and the website rework would be part of v1.1.0. We couldn't finish either to the standard we wanted in time. Rather than release something incomplete, we've moved both to v1.1.1. We're sorry for setting that expectation and not meeting it. The /project rework and the new website experience are still coming next.

Personal accounts on the website

You can now sign in with Discord at osintgoldberg.xyz/account. Your website account is separate from the admin panel. You can:

  • Turn blog-post notifications on or off.
  • View your own lookup history.
  • Check your current access or block status.
  • Manage your cases from the web.

Cases are now open to everyone

Cases are no longer admin-only. Create private workspaces for an investigation. Save evidence, write notes and conclusions, add findings, and connect related pieces of information. Each case includes a visual board that renders your evidence and connections as an image.

Use /case-info in Discord, or manage cases at osintgoldberg.xyz/account/cases.

New /stats command

Use /stats whenever you want a quick health check. It shows the bot's latency, uptime, server count, and install count.

Reliability improvements, in final testing

These improvements are in final testing and are not live yet:

  • Circuit breakers stop repeated requests to an external provider when it's failing.
  • Durable jobs let longer /username and /email lookups survive a restart. Resume them with /result.
  • Evidence freshness tracking shows when evidence was last verified and whether it may have changed.
  • Plain-English “Why am I seeing this?” explanations clarify why a match was flagged.
  • An improved admin diagnostics panel helps troubleshoot problems faster.

Fixes and performance

  • Fixed an issue where admin-panel activity could slow responses for every user.
  • Faster parallel lookups.
  • Reduced startup overhead.
  • General reliability and performance cleanup.

What's next

v1.1.1 will include the /project rework and the website rework, including a more complete and polished website experience. We'll share more once both are ready to ship properly.

Upcoming

v1.1.1

The /project rework and a new website experience

v1.1.1 picks up the two pieces that didn't make it into v1.1.0.

The /project rework is a different approach to username lookups: instead of just checking a site's response status, it reads the actual page a site returns, the title, the metadata, whether it says a profile wasn't found, and uses that to decide. The goal is fewer wrong answers in both directions. It's been running as its own command, /projectrework, separate from /username, while we validate it against real traffic before it takes on the real thing.

The website rework builds the account experience out further and gives the whole site a more complete, polished feel.

More on both as they get closer to shipping.

v1.0.1 · September 19, 2026

Smoother lookups, better ways to stay in the loop

This update is smaller than v1.0.0, focused on cleaning up rough edges and giving the community more ways to keep up with what's shipping.

  • /email's local Google lookup is fully wired up now. Profile photos, cover photos, active services, and public review counts all resolve properly instead of showing as unconfigured.
  • New: Blog Notifications. Opt in from the support server to get a DM the moment a new update goes live, so you don't have to check back manually.
  • New: role-pinged announcements. Admins can now push a message to any channel with specific roles pinged, so update posts actually reach the people who want them.

v1.0.1 is out now.
